The Bite:
Ready to tune in to what to wear this fall? Listen: Lara Miller's new made-in-Chicago fall line is hitting racks as we type. No gloomy grey here - stock up on geometric patterned tops, flowy dresses, and puffy-sleeved jackets in marine blues, emerald greens, and mustard yellows. There's the elbow-length, recycled cotton Edelie pullover and the belted, femmed-up take on tuxedo bottoms (with hemp and wool) - both great for work. Weekends: Refresh last year's leggings with the thigh-length, mod Geo sweater and be your best self.
Why Care?:
Opting for locally made clothes saves transport resources, and wearing duds made with recycled cotton helps keep the 68 pounds of fabric each American tosses yearly out of landfills.
